Foreign citizens who are in the territory of the Russian Federation in violation of the established procedure for stay, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 18, 2020 N-274 “On temporary measures to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation in connection with the threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)”, until June 15, 2021 can regulate their legal status by contacting the migration departments to make a decision on extending the period of temporary stay, registration for migration purposes and issuing the relevant permits.
