Comprehensive exam in Russian as a foreign language, Russian history and the basics of Russian legislation
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, a foreign citizen in order to obtain documents must provide a certificate of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of the history of Russia and the basics of Russian legislation.
The certificate confirms that a citizen has a command of oral and written speech at a level that allows him/her to work and live comfortably. The requirements for the minimum level of knowledge needed to pass the comprehensive exam have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Only certified centers are authorized to conduct the exams.
You must bring to the exam:
- Original identity document (residence permit or passport and its translation, refugee certificate);
- A photocopy of an identity document (residence permit or passport and its translation, refugee certificate);
- Migration card (for persons without a residence permit);
- A blue ink pen;
- Receipt of payment.
An application for a comprehensive exam is completed before the exam.
In case of successful passing of the exam, a certificate of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of the history of Russia and the basics of Russian legislation is issued. The certificate is valid for 5 years.
- to know the basics of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation;
- to know the basic rights, freedoms and obligations of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation;
- to know the rules of entry of foreign citizens into the Russian Federation, stay and residence on the territory of the Russian Federation, and exit from the Russian Federation;
- to know the basics of civil, family and labor law of the Russian Federation;
- to know the basics of interaction with public authorities in the Russian Federation;
- to know the grounds of legal responsibility of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation;
- to know the basics of interaction of foreign citizens with diplomatic missions or consular offices of the state of their citizenship.
- know the main facts and events of Russian history according to the historical chronology and the main historical and cultural monuments related to them;
- to know the main religious confessions, national-cultural and religious traditions of the Russian society;
- to know the names of famous political and state figures, outstanding figures of science and culture of Russia, their contribution to the history of development of Russian society and world culture.
- be able to read small texts (advertisements, announcements, signs, inscriptions, signposts, interview fragments, short texts of country studies) with the aim of general coverage of the content, as well as to determine the topic of the text, understand the main and additional information contained in it;
- be able to fill in questionnaires, forms, notices (for receiving a parcel, transfer), write an application (for employment, for admission of a child to school); the topics and genres of texts are relevant for official-business, professional and social and everyday spheres of communication;
- understand by ear the main content and significant details of monologue and dialog (communicative intentions of its participants); speech situations are characteristic of social and domestic, official-business, professional and socio-cultural spheres of communication;
- be able to create coherent, logical oral monologic messages on the proposed topic in accordance with the communicative setting, as well as to adequately participate in dialogic communication in a limited set of situations in the official-business, professional and social and everyday spheres of communication;
- use in the process of speech activity a limited set of language (lexical-grammatical and phonetic-intonation) skills and abilities; the volume of the lexical minimum is 850 units.
